The Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan Affairs Office performs the following functions:
a. strict execution of guidelines and policies issued by the Party and the State concerning Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regions in context of the uniqueness of the corresponding regions;
b. management and coordination of affairs concerning Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regions and implementation of academic cooperation and exchanges between this university and these regions;
c. event organization and guest reception for visiting personnel on campus for teaching, researching or friendly visit;
d. registration formalities at the provincial education office and Taiwan affairs offices on provincial and state level concerning non-private visits to Taiwan;
and e. completion of other missions assigned by university authorities to this office.
